Roy and Wider Sibaja acquired their first rafting equipment in 2009. In December 2010, their company began operating as WR Adventure Rafting.

Tenorio began with two brothers from Cañas and a shared love for adventure. Since 2010, that passion has taken travelers out on the rivers and into the landscapes we call home.

Growing in Cañas
The company later adopted the Tenorio Adventure name. Its operations center opened in Cañas in 2012, and its experiences expanded to include ATV tours, tubing and transportation.
