The experience

Discover a different side of Guanacaste on a hike at Cerro Pelado, near Cañas. Open hillsides and mountain ridges offer broad views of the surrounding countryside, with room to pause, take photographs and enjoy the landscape.

The route includes uphill sections and uneven ground. Exposed stretches can feel hot and windy, so come prepared for an active outdoor experience and walk at a comfortable pace.
